gay.com Messenger is your chat control center. It helps you manage your lists, see who's online, and IM with other members - both in groups and one-on-one.
IM Shield
The IM Shield helps you manage unwanted IM Requests by allowing you to set a security question and answer.

Online Status Indicator and Chat Bio
The online status indicator allows you to set your status so that other gay.com members can know whether or not you're available to chat and what you're up to in general. You can set your status when you sign in or in Messenger.
Use the chat Bio line to let other members in chatknow some more information about you. You canchange it as often as you want during your chatsession.
My Lists
The My Lists tab helps you manage your various contacts - including friends and members you bookmark or hotlist.
Double click to start IM
To start an IM session with someone on your list, just double click on their member name. To find out more,click on their Member Nmae to view a Mini Profile.
My Rooms
My Rooms helps you manage your favorite chat rooms.
Chat Rooms link lets you browse all chat rooms andenter Group Chat.
Add your favorite chat rooms to this list. Click on one of your favorite rooms and go directly to that room.
